I have two hard drives; a C: drive and a D: drive. I had Windows XP home on my D drive and windows 2000 on C drive. When starting the computer I always had option of selecting either of them. Yesterday I installed Windows XP home on my C drive too. Now when starting I do not get option of selecting the drives. It automatically goes and starts my machine on C drive. All my software are on the D drive and I can not access them thru C. Could somebody please help me so I can start my machine on either of these two drives.

Hello ulearn4me,

Try giving this a try MS KB 306559
