Having connection problems and would like to update my LAN driver. I downloaded and unzipped files from my vendor. There is no executable, only 2 sys files, a cat file and an inf file. How do I install it? How would I revert to the previous driver in case it makes it so bad that I cannot connect at all?

right click on "my computer" and choose manage, then device manager, then locate your network card, right click and choose update driver, choose the option to "search in a specified location", browse to the location of those files you unzipped and press ok...this should update the drivers....to reverse that...go to the same place but when you right click on the network card, choose "rollback driver"
