Just recently fully formated HDD and reinstalled windows xp and it was able to successfully install it and all the initial setup. And During reboot, the screen goes blank after the Windows XP logo shows up. Not knowing what's wrong, i went into bios and did a HDD test which failed (#1 - 07 Fail).

Press the power button then keep tapping F8 until you get options, choose safe mode, if this loads the desktop, check the video card software is installed correctly
