First try, right click MY COMPUTER, choose PROPERTIES, choose DEVICE MANAGER, go to DISPLAY ADAPTER, click +, select display adapter, choose delete/remove/uninstall (can't recall what it says in win98 at the moment).
Reboot, windows will reinstall the drivers

Yes It says remove in Windows 98 and I should do this correct.Then when I re boot it will correct the drivers by re installing what is correct.Thank for you help

If the driver is not corrupt, yes, it will reinstall the driver....this works in about 70 percent of the cases.
