I have a Gateway desktop (circa 2003). It has DVD Rom, rewritable cd capabilites. By defaut, there was no Codec pack on the maschine. So I downloaded a purchase from Sonic.com and could not play any DVD's. So I reserched the Geeks' Forum and found the free download at K-Lite. I still can't play DVD's. Windows Media Player tells me that there is no disk in Drive D (the cd drive).
You help woud be appreciated.
