I havent been infected by trojan.perfcoo (creates a file in the system32 folder called perfc000.dat)that uses Rootkit technology. And now i have. What i'm very sure now,is that its downloading stuff from the internet...without me knowing that is,but out of the blue i managed to know something,i wasnt chatting,downloading,uploading,updating and etc. that uses my bandwidth but the DSL LED light on my modem was blinking like [bleep](indicating something is downloading or using bandwidth). Spybot search and destroy managed to find a (fakeWga which affected one of my svchost.exe),(microsoft ie firewall bypass internet explore is affected),and (microsoft windows appfirewall bypass where system 32\usmt\migwiz.exe is affected). i was quite lost as everytime i start up and run a scan it always shows these infections. I believe this threat is dangerous and new,like the month of may kinda new,honestly i tried removing it myself,it always came back again. I did registry editing,but still its there...so what i tried is,on a 3rd party website they showed an unofficial way of removing this trojan. first i make an autodelete batch file,then i quickly put in a dummy of the same threat name. it got rid of it and on the next startup,there was a major error saying perfc000.dat is not a valid dll for most of the processes,svchost,explorer.exe were the ones affected...my computer was snail from there on...i know this is an out of the ordinary kind of trojan.please help any details please ask asap i dont want more malware. enlosed are hijackthis log and rapport log(smitfraudfix) if you wanted it.
