Hi , ive got some MPEG Audio Layer-3 audio music files on my computer
and ive tried to burn them to a Cd and play them on my
Car audio player ( it should play CD, DVD, Mp3 , VCD )
but the cd ive burnt won't play on my car unit, so I want to try
and convert the mp3 to conventional Audio CD's and then
burn it to CD's and try that , so can any one please
recommend a free ware program that is easy ( for a Newbie ) to use
and would do the converting..?

Thanks mypenry

Have a look at Audacity and possibly DB PowerAmp

http://lists.thedata...Audio_Tools.htm

Check if using them to convert to mp3 will work with your CD Player

Get NERO or Alcohol. It'll automatically convert the files into proper format when burning. You can also do this with Windows Media Player. Click the burn tab, and drag the mp3's into the panel.

It's been a while since I've used it but Windows Media Player used to be able to convert from audio formats to CDA.
