We have 3 laptops that use an Airties router. We live in Istanbul and our Turkish is not advanced enough to read the Turkish manual for Airties. However, I doubt it is a router issue.
Our problem is our laptop shows the router but cannot connect...the error message is "Windows cannot renew your IP Address. Please contact your network administrator".
The source of the problem may be the installation a few years ago of a wireless printer router. We no longer have or use the printer router....but Dell's India based tech support had me tweak a lot of things in the wireless connection area a few years ago. I have tried to reset all the wirless settings to default and have used the settings from the laptops that are working to reset the one that is not online. So far....no change.
Can anyone walk me through this?

Thanks,

Stan

If the above page is no help, try temporarily disabling the firewall on the laptop with the problem, then repeat what you've already tried to do as before. If Windows is then able to renew the IP address and all is well, remember to re-enable the firewall as soon as possible.
