to a post here? if you use the "attachments" section below the "post box" you can do this automatically
you use the browse button to find the picture file...then the upload button to upload it....then you click the drop down arrow on the "mannage current attachments" box...then press the paper with the green + on it...that will put some text like this
[attachment=15130:hearsees...k_md_wht.gif]

Thanks dsenette:
I didn't know that either.But I was wondering if I upload a bunch of pictures from my my picture folder,how can I do it so that a person viewing it can easily enlarge it to see greater detail.I am trying to sell our house and the forum I want to put it in has other similar pictures, which are small, and say they have been reduced in size, but that clicking on them will enlarge the picture.Do you have to use special software such as FSResizer(mentioned cause its a free download) please advise.

resizing a picture with software then posting it on a forum won't do what you want....that will resize the actual file that they will be seeing....the method above works here...you'll have to ask the people at the other forum how they do it (if it's not the same way) as some forum software is different

If you upload the image to Imageshack, they provide you with correct code for making forum thumbnails.
