in msconfig, under startups, see if there is one that corresponds to this problem and disactivate it. post below if either no joy or not understood, thanks
um it looks like I got it wrong, a google search reveals that it is probably malware and needs removing at the malware section here

Bent300 welcome to Geeks to go.
First off and most important is to never use a registry cleaner. They are useless. What generally happens is that they remove files that are "good" files and therefore cause programs to stop working. They have also been known to remove system files that are used to operate the computer. Your computer becomes a paperweight. Cleaning the registry will not reduce the size and does no good.
A registry cleaner does more harm than good. You were lucky it only affected 1 program (that you know of).
The PanoStandAlone is a set of files that relates to HP software. I assume you have some HP products. When the error occurs again, put your HP cd in the drive and allow it to reinstall what it wants.
Here are 2 topics from our forum on this.

We at Geeks to go are using ERUNT as a registry backup tool. Install it and allow it to run. It will create a backup of the registry everytime you boot the computer. It is great if the registry becomes messed up due to a program or any other reason.
