Hi,
I am technologically lost in the modern world, but knew my stuff 35 years ago. The desktop computer I will buy this morning comes with a E2140, options are a E4300 +$91, E4400 + $114, 945 +$120. No gaming, no photo albums, only office (Scheduling, quickbooks, billing, word processing) and communication type programs ( Skype and DSL or Cable, online schedule access). I assume the E2140 is more than capable, but if an upgrade is a big improvement, I will spring for it.

I want to stay with xp because I know it and I have heard that Vista has problems. Good Idea or do I just love the past?

An aside. In 1981 I got a great deal on a used 5 megabyte hard drive. Only $2300. Jealous?? :whistling:
