Just have a question : (XP Pro SP 2)

I have a baseball simulator program on my laptop

When I click on the exe to run it nothing happens. No hour glass nothing.
Everything else on the laptop works.

Now I take the game and install on any other pc and it works fine

Is there a registry setting or key missing ??

Any suggestions ??

It could be SP2 that's causing the problem if the other computers you've tried it on don't have SP2 installed. I recall this happening to some of my 'exe' files after I applied the SP2 update to an old copy of XP. Strangely though, when I bought a new copy of XP recently with SP2 already integrated into it, I didn't have any problem running those same 'exe' files.

But all is well I reinstalled the OS and SP 2 and its fine now !
