Cannot find Server

Help, I have a brand new Dell with Windows XP. It's been working superbly for the first month of owning it and now Internet Explorer suddenly just today started not responding most of the time. It's not like a connection problem. It feels like some sort of worm or virus or spyware is eating up all the RAM or something. I'm pretty competent on a basic level with computers. I ran a McAfee scan which yielded nothing. An Adaware scan revealed around 80 items which I then deleted with Adaware. Still no improvement. I ran Hijack this and got the following log. The browser will work intermittently and mostly refuses to open a link, even in a new window. I have google search bar and when I type in a search and press enter nothing happens, but when I move the mouse up to the top bar, up comes the timer. Eventually it goes to the dreaded Cannot find Server white page. I hope I'm making some sense. Anyway here's the log, any help is appreciated.

Since your original post is over a week old could you please post a fresh Hijack This log for review.
