Hi there people!!!

I have a 120 Gb SATA HDD on my desktop computer, which i hav partioned into two parts of 30Gb and 80 Gb. I have my OS and system files on the 30 GB part of the hard drive. I also recently procured a 160 Gb external hard drive.

now here is the problem - everytime i turn on my computer with the External HDD plugged in and turned on, the computer looks for the system files on the external hard drive and tries to boot from there. It gives me the error message - Error Loading OS.

After looking for a while i realized what was wrong and went into BIOS - and changed the boot settings - and set my HDD as the primary boot device. But upon restart it does the same thing and i ws wondering what can be done to fix this!!

hope yu guys can help
