Cannot use POPPEEEPER

Dear users:
I've tried and failed to use the following two programs, POPPEEPER and EPROMPTER, they fail to connect to my HOTMAIL accounts once and again.
PoP Peeper is an email notifier that runs in your Windows task bar and alerts you when you have new email on your POP3, IMAP, same for Eprompter.
I have verified my Hotmail accounts and Poppeeper setup and it's fine.
It was working perfectly until yesterday and I'm worried that maybe KASPERSKY 7.0 ( which is updated automatically) has something to do with the problem.
My email through POP3 is working fine, the problem is with these programs.
