Hi,

This is not the problem itself, but something annoying…

I have broadband for years now, but there was fault with my router and I have to used any dialup connection – so I want to first store and pick up orange cd and install it… after few days by broadband is back and I wanted to remove orange (which I did) – except one annoying thing: on the top of IE now say “Internet Explorer provided by Orange” and I simple cannot find the way to remove this “… provided by orange” thingy…

Can anyone please advice me how to remove this…

Thank you. Regards,

Den

PS. Everything is working fine – just this annoying thing!!!

Hi Den01,,
Sorry to hear you are having problems of a sort.

Sorry,, but lets start with the basics,, ! ! !

Is this the Orange toolbar we are talking about here ?

Have you tried to remove it from the add/remove programs ?

Does right clicking on the logo give you any options ?

Have you tried simply to re install IE ?

Hi RX and thank you for reply.

No, I have removed the orange toolbar and other bits and pieces… and I don’t have any issues with IE…

But look the attached photo – on the top you can see what I am talking about.

And annoying thing is I cannot remove this “…provided by orange” thingy.

Hope you can advice…

Thank you

Regards,

Den

To be honest with you,, its one of those annoying things that you will have to put up with.

I have Google set as my homepage,, at the top it says " google - internet explorer "

When i had the bt home page,, it said " bt yahoo- internet explorer "

I think whoever is you ISP is going to have its name up there at the top,,,

Try changing your homepage and see if it still says the same ? ? ?
