Drives are gone?

Hey everyone,

SO i installed AVG spyware and ran the scan. Now my external hard drive is no longer accessible nor does it appear in My Computer. Any Help?

Turn off the computer, unplug the external drive, leave out for at least 30 seconds. Plug back in, wait for it to power back on then turn computer back on.
I belive the term for that is a soft reset. You should do it to all electronics every few days.
Post back if it doesnt work.
