McAfee will no longer run, and many programs are not running at all when i click on them. IE is having problems, and the computer will not respond when trying to open new windows. Some icons on websites will not show (java problem?) and in some cases, the sites won't even load.
I have run Adaware SE, Crapcleaner and spybot search and destroy and it found some malware in safe mode, but isn't finding anymore. Svchost.exe is running consistantly high CPU utilization, as is AIM.
Please help!

Welcome gobi11,

I found your cry for help. I'm sorry, the forums are very busy.

Let start with finding out what is wrong.

Click here to download eScan's mwav application. Double-click it to run it, select all local drives, scan all files, press 'scan' and when it is completed, anything found will be displayed in the lower pane. Highlight it, CTRL C and paste it in your next reply.

I apologize for the bitmap, but my sister now has the laptop, and sent it in that format. she was unable to send a text doc from it in the current state of health the computer is in. Is the text legible?

# Go into the Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs
# Search For TopText, TopText ILookup, HotText, or ContextPro
# Select it and Choose Remove
# Restart your computer
# Search for leftover files and unregister them
Click Start, point to Find or Search, and then click Files or Folders.
Make sure that "Look in" is set to (C:\WINDOWS)
In the "Named" or "Search for..." box, type the following filenames
stub.exe
exstub.exe
# If either of these files are found, delete them.

Download CWShredder, update it. Then open the program and click ‘fix’.

When you have access to the computer again, please post me the scanresults as text.

I want to remove some files, but I want to be sure to make no typo's.
