Hello,

When booting up a computer win xp pro- following message:

Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu or continue with system restart.

Problem- cannot use the keyboard to select these options. After searching this error- it is related to the pc being in hibernate mode. I cannot get it out of hibernate to boot.

But I can get into the setup and make selections- I was hoping i could turn hibernation off in setup.

Overall problem the microsoft knowledge base doesnt provide answers if the keyboard doesnt work when presented with following error message at boot[ see above.

Yeah, no need to be offended, when you have worked with people and computers for a while you learn to ask the simple questions first.
