No Sound at all

After i updated to windows xp, my pc becomes no sound now....

when i click on "Sound and Audio Devices" from control panel it says " no audio device"!!!

Click the link in post 2

The motherboard CD might have had other software for the soundcard, though it will run with just the drivers

Click start, right click my computer, click properties, hardware, device manager

Click the + next to sound, video and game controllers

Is SiS mentioned there, does it have a yellow marking

Are there any yellow markings in device manager
