Hiya,

I've got a Toshipa Pro Satellite laptop with a Matshita UJ841S DVD Rom (DVD multi burner, etc). I've recently tried unlocking the rom using AnyDVD, but it tells me that it has a problem with Matshita drivers and I should download something else. However...i can't FIND something else. At the moment my drive is one region-change away from being locked in Zone1 (Canada).Any suggestions on how to unlock the drive perhaps?

what is the program you are using for viewing DVDs, if you have a copy of the install CD of that program, perhaps uninstalling/reinstalling would solve the problem for a while, don't know any zone cracks, don't think we are allowed to offer them either, but another idea is just to watch the DVD with something else like VLC player instead and that is link:

Yeah I've tried using VLC as well (as well as a whole host of other players), gives the same issue (in fact it doesn't even open the film). I usually just use Media Player Classic or Intervideo WinDVD8. Have tried going directly to the supplier (Panasonic and Matshita, both offer DVD Ram unlock codes), but my model isn't listed.
