"Taskmanager disabled by Administrator" is a very common symptom of malware.
I suggest that you follow the procedures outlined here: http://www.geekstogo...-Log-t2852.html
When complete, post a HiJackThis log here: http://www.geekstogo...o-Here-f37.html
You will be assisted by a trained malware specialist. If any problems remain after your helper has given you a clean bill of health, post back here and we will assist in getting everything sorted.
Good luck, and happy hunting.

Hi i have just got rid of a big big virus called ucleaner [ ultimate cleaner 2007 ] and at first it blocked me from task manager until i did the following:
Start > Run > Enter the code below > Click ok
REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
The [ CMD ] should popup up for like half a second and thats it then simply Ctrl + Alt + Delete
Hope this works and if you do have the same virus as i did ucleaner and trojan horse and smitfraud and the rest visit the link http://forums.techgu...leaner-bug.html and it helps alot or just google ' ucleaner help with virus '
Once again i hope this works for you guys

badben-- please do not attempt any shortcuts. Let the trained people in the malware section review your log. Every system is unique. What works for one may not work for you.
