Windows XP sp2 Media center edition
Dell Inspiron E1505
Sonic DVD/CD burner programme

The Sonic programme will not open.I get the attached messages, and the only way I can stop them is with Task Manager. I have only the discs that came with the computer, no Sonic disc. I can find BMPLE.MSI on one of the Dell discs, but then I get a message saying it isn't valid.

I've tried restore to a point well before this happened, and 'Last known good configuration' to no avail. Any ideas on how to correct this and get it working again?

Thanks, Starjax.
I did contact Dell and they didn't sound as though they could do any thing, the suggestion was for me to re-install Windows, but the chap I spoke to said that he would see what he could do. I didn't expect much, but today I received a disk from Dell. It's Roxio Creator (by Sonic, of course), and it looks and works just as Sonic does - just a different name. So I'm all set now.
