Hi all, I am having this error:

An error occurred while reconnecting x: to \\Files\data
This connection has not been restore.

The other machine can access to this folder and funny thing is that I can ping to the files terminal.

Shut down restart no luck, change NIC no luck.

Please advise.

Thanks.

This is probably caused by a firewall or the fact that the computer to be shared from was booted up last instead of first.

I have got the same problem, which occurred suddenly after no earlier problems.
Computer 1 cannot connect to computer 4.
But computer 4 can connect to computer 1
I get this message when I try to connect in My Computer or My Network Places.

No other errors in the network consisting of four computers in a usual Windows Network

What shall I do?

Pls help
