Apple software update crashes every time i try to update itunes and quicktime
how can i fix this?

refere to my itunes pinned topic. follow the instructions and then download and reinstall itunes/quicktime. should resolve your issue.

nope. it just removes the registry flag for the msi file. that way itunes can be reinstalled.
