Hi everybody,


Resently i assembled my pc. In that i found an issue that is when i swithed on my main swith. The SMPS fan is running and HDD light is glowing in 5 seconds than it will stop.Is this an issue?.

If yes give ideas or suggestion as soon as possible.

i've had a few systems do this.....when you first turn on the power to some PSUs...they initiate a PSU test to make sure they're functional....SOME motherboards will begin to fire up during that test (either because the PSU doesn't treat this test as a test or because the motherboard doesn't expect the test or heck...might be by design)...

this momentary power up shouldn't cause any problems though....the system powers back down before anything actually innitializes so there's not really any HD access...it's just spinning up...
