Printer seems to have mind of its own!!! At times it functions normally but frustratingly at other times it misbehaves. I get messages such as 'paper too narrow' (even though I am using the same A4 size paper all the time) or 'carriage jam' or get 'cancelling print' as a constant message when using cancel button on copier or constant message 'warming up'. So far as I am aware there is not a print driver problem as I am using latest version and most of the problems seem to arise when I am using it as a copier.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of problem?

I know that after time paper debris can fall or block sensors in printers creating weird messages. A can of compressed air and a good cleaning may clear up the problems.
