run
sfc /scannow

no progress box shows up
it flashes, but disappears...

am on my friends puter is huge HP
400gbHD amd64 5000 Athlon duo core
6150 LE Nvidia GeForce

Has been slow n unresponsive
ran a Hijack This n got rid of a few nasties
ran SuperAntiSpyware also had like 94 adware
doin ALOT better but cant run a scannow
What gives?

Also...
It didnt come with a Vista Disk is it gonna ask for 1 like my Dell does? What do i do if it does?

Vista keeps sayin it has blocked some start up progs...click 2 view ...but wont let me view....
uhm...a link for services Vista needs also???? Ones I can turn off n such
