I forcefully shut down my pc and when I attempted to turn it on, this error came up.

This is in regards to this post:

http://www.geekstogo...ows-t19049.html

I dont understand how to do this:

5. At the command prompt, type cd $ntuninstallKB.........HERE THE
NUMBER OF THE PATCH.....$\spuninst, and then press ENTER.

Is it C:\WINDOWS>cd $ntuninstallKB893066$\spuninst or $ntuninstallKB 893066 $\spuninst?

Ive tried both but it keeps saying that the parameters are incorrect or the system cannot find the file or directory specified.

Thanks for your help.

Howdy and welcome to GTG:

Try the following command (copy and paste if necessary)..

C:\WINDOWS>cd $ntuninstall\KB893066 $\spuninst

Notice the slash between $ntuninstall and KB893066 and the space between o66 and the last command.
