Ill give you guys some background info

I recently bought a laptop [ Acer 9302awsmi ] and it had vista installed on it, im not a vista fan so i wiped the laptop and installed XP.

went the the acer site and installed all the drivers, everything is fine except for the sound, it jitters and lags and cuts in and out, its realy annoying and was wondering if you guys have any ideas on how i can fix it

did you go to control panel
system
hardware
device manager
right click on sound
click properties
click driver tab
troubleshoot
or even update drivers for sound

Ok i just did all that and still get the issue
