ok ..what im trying to do is record a clip from this game called mugen through a recording program, ive tried ''hypercam2'' and ''snag it'' so far and it records it fine except it doesn't pick up the sound from in the game, but when i added a song for background in windows movie maker it worked, im starting to think maybe its a problem with my system's sound since both these programs aren't picking it up and im pretty sure ive checked all the right preferences for it to work.. @ 1 point a tutorial told me i should go to my volume control and click recording then check off mono mix & stereo, but ive noticed on this comp the only 3 options i have are ''in line'' ''rear mic'' & ''microphone'' after i click recording, since this comp is relatively new ive had it for a few months and i remb. having about 7 options for volume on my old one...

my computer isa dell dimension c521 amd x2, ive dwnloaded every audio driver an installed them off the website, my soundcard is either legacy or sigmatel im not sure, but i can check..

help would be greatly appreciated :whistling:
