Making / Editing templates

I have just entered the world of Web Sires and Forums and have recently started up my own Forum
With the site thats hosting my Forum You also space for some web pages,

I have started making some pages but would like to make my own deisgn template or Edit one and put some of my stuff on them (if this is possible)
Ive had a look around google and found this


I have had no expirence with HTML so does anyone on a sight with a demo design template that i could use to learn from?

As i am completley new to this Any help would be aprectiated

This was made originally with table tags which I removed. After all, the web moves on.
