I'm new here, though I've browsed your forum before while searching for spyware solutions. Typically, I have been able to fix problems just by using the common spyware tools and researching from fantastic sites such as this. This time though I am getting my butt kicked by a mysterious spyware/adware program.

Here is my problem:
Everytime I launch IE, another (advertisement) window pops up alongside it (pretty common Spyware issue). If I leave my PC sit, within a few hours my virtual memory is maxed out and my PC is brought to it's knees.

I've noticed upon start-up that my task manager shows this xxxxxx.exe process, where "xxxxxx" is a randomly generated process name such as "xhujwp.exe". If I remove the process, it immediately gets replaced by another (differently named) randomly generated process name.

Since these process names are completely random, none of my google searches on their origin come up. Current versions of Ad-Aware, SpyBot S&D, CWShredder fail to detect this problem. I've also done regedit on the process names and am unable to link it to a parent process. I've also done google searches on every single other process running in Task Manager to see if it could be the parent process causing this (similar to the WSup/WinTools scenario) and I come up with nothing. Somehow these processes are being re-spawned and I am completely at a loss. This is a whole new beast to me. :tazz:

Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? I can also post a HiJack This log if needed.

Like I said, I can usually fix such problems without having to bother the experts but this time around I am completely out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
