Spysweeper did make it dissappear from the remove programs list, but it also says that it is not really gone, just not showing anymore. And since there are no longer any files on the system, that I can find anyway, I have to assume it is no longer installed.

What I don't understand is why it still shows on the list if it is gone. It shows no storage space used, like the other rograms do, so why is it still there? I am a "why" sort of person & I would like to know why. But so many times computer people have not been able to tell me why when I ask questions. so I have pretty much given up asking.

Do you know why?

Ok i have been facing a problem for quite sometime. I have a Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit where i wanted to install Norton Endpoint Protection 11.0.4. I have ran the Norton Antivirus removal tool. Also I have done the Windows cleaner utility tool to remove any of the mentioned files. But still i was getting the error at the beginning of setup where I get an error saying that network error detecting setup.msi during installation.
Please help me solve this problem.

I had the same problem earlier also with another laptop & after about 12-13 restarts or so, by some luck I just tried & it worked. Well that was some luck I guess. :)
Hope you ve got a solution for this problem.
