Hello all. i have set up many networks in the past few years but i am stumped by this problem i am having.

i have a belkin wireless G router which broadcasts to my laptops perfectly. however my hard line desktop i have connected hard line. however it does say status: "local and internet" connected, yet when i click on my browser it gives me the standard error page. to test the connection i bought a wireless pci card for my desktop and installed it. gets good signal but still says "local and internet connected" yet i still get the error message.

im thinking this is a computer problem more than a networking issue. any ideas guys?
- thanks

also, go to command promp (cmd), and check if your desktop computer is really getting connection from your router
(ipconfig), if no IP or ( connection ), you know try to power off the router for a few minutes and try again.
