I initially came to this forum for CiD pop-ups. I performed all the various fixes and that is now taken care of. I then did a Defrag of the HD, a disc check, and disc clean up, as described by the tech support. I then removed items from the start up menu.

Since then I have been losing local internet connection on a constant basis. I didn't have that problem before. It will be there one moment and then gone the next. I have tried accessing start>run>command>ipconfig/release>ipconfig/renew and it doesn't help. I will have access for a number of hours but it is almost everyday that this occurs. A triangular yellow icon shows up in the task bar and shows that local connection has been lost.

Does this sound familiar? And is there some simple fix I can apply to remedy it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
