wasnt sure where to post this, so i posted it in here im sorry if it is in the wrong place .

for some reason when i boot up my pc it gives me the options (start windows normally etc.), gets to the XP splash screen, the then screen goes black and it restarts, i cannot get past this stage of bootup, its started happenein randomly since about 3 days ago.

i have tried last known good configuration, and i tried a repair with the XP disc, but it onlu recognises OS installations on my D drive and not my primary C: drive?

any help would be highly appreciated.
