can anyone help me removing a virus from my laptop. Platform: Windows 2000 SP4 (WinNT 5.00.2195)
MSIE: Internet Explorer v6.00 SP1 (6.00.2800.1106). im a student just moved to scotland form ireland and my laptop has a crazy virus i downloaded ad-aware and searcha dn destroy but neither cna get rid of it. my net connection is slow enough already on campus and this virus is killin me. it just eeps opening pages and tryin to download stuff.

any help or ideas would be much appreciated
