UPnP Host service is not showing up on the services.msc list

sorry i know the title is a bit long. i am trying to share my media on my pc with my xbox360 and i looked on xbox.com and it said that the UPnP Host service needs to be running on my pc. only problem is i dont see it at all when i go to services.msc. is there anyway i can get it running and if so how can i do it? any help would be appreciated.

look in your bios and see if UPnP is enabled...

i looked at my bios but i didnt see any option to enable or disable the UPNP host service. could there be any other ways of enabling it? thanks

try this too...
START...CONTROL PANEL...SERVICES..ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS...SERVICES..

Navigate to Universal Plug and Play Device Host .... Right click on it and select properties...
In the General tab select startup type of Automatic... If the Service Status is stopped then press the Start button.
EVEN IF YOU DON'T SEE ..Universal Plug and Play Device Host
Repeat for SSDP Discovery Service

also may want to try to run the networking wizard
