Alright, I get a new motherboard (geforce 6100 m9)
and a new amd 3500+ processor
I was pumped....
I get all my stuff in hard drive, psu, ram etc, boot and everything works wonderfully.
until I decide to put a cd in to put on my computer...
nothing happens....i was GOING to update the firmware, but all the ubs ports don't seem to recognize
the external hdd.(I have to download from one computer, put it on external hdd, put hdd into my computer (with no internet) and then make the floppy disk.
So anyways, I would i need help with cd/dvd drives, and usb ports.
Oh, and sound..I don't have any sound drivers either....probably should get those soon.

P.S im not sure how much sense this makes, I'm very tired, and need sleep. I will recheck it in the morning. :)

try checking the USB settings in the Bios and about the sound, if you have onboard sound make sure its enabled in the Bios also and the motherboard should have came with a cd with drivers on it such as the audio one. if its an addon pci sound card just open the pc and look at the sound card to get the make/model of it then just goto the manufactures website to download a driver for it. hope this helps some.

good luck
