morning folks. quick question. having trouble dl'ng two net framework updates. what would happen if i removed all net framework items in add-remove and then go to microsoft update and download all again? would computer be stable enough to do so? tks for any help. topic has probably been covered a bunch. frank.

.NET framework is not an essential part of a functioning XP system, but rather sort of an add-on that offers extended capabilities. Except for a few specific applications that require it, the complete absence of the whole .NET complex will not be noticed by most home users.
