Hello,

I don't want folk to just hit Cancel at log on window and them be able to get on computer. I want to require log on. How can I make this happen?

Not going to happen under Windows 98. It was never designed for user accounts as such, and what it does offer isn't as good as under XP.
You would need thirty party software (such as Novell for example) to do this.
