I am getting run-time errors on two programs: It'sDeductible7 and H&R Block Deduction Pro -- interesting that they are both charitable contribution programs... I have tried the fixes suggested by It'sDeductible support but to no avail.

Here are the two different error messages:

Run-time error '429': ActiveX componet can't create object

and

Run-time error '372': Failed to load control 'VSFlexGrid' from Vsflex7L.ocx. Your version of Vsflex7L.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

both are activex issues.

First, try setting your IE to default--TOOLS > INTERNET OPTIONS > Security and Privacy tabs...set to default

Done. No improvement. Question: why would the IE setting affect how these programs run?
