<_< Everytime I try to start up my machine it opens in safe mode, first it will bring up on screen an option to open it in 'normal' 'safe mode' 'Ms dos mode and other things also. It doesn't matter what you select, it will only open in safe mode. I have tried shutting it down properly and re-booting so many times. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

Try this, create a bootdisk http://www.bootdisk.com. Start your computer with this disk in the floppy drive and at the command prompt type c:\windows\command\scanreg /restore. Select a date before the problem began.
