My computer needs an MOT! It is going very slow and I am being told by norton there is a virus but it can't get it?!

I had one called Bloodhound.w32, one called Mediket and another can't remember the name! I don't think my anti virus stuff is picking it up! my home page on IE keeps getting directed

Please can someone help me? :tazz:
