I have this issue after installing Samsung PC Studio, not sure if that is the cause but ya, my 40GB hdd shows in device manager, but not in my computer. I am thinking malware because when i installed samsung pc studio it sort of 'stopped' and windows said 'write file error' that little box at the bottom right with the yellow sign? yeah that one... then my firewwall picked up a new file running, rcprt4.dll which as per google is some sort of data read/write file?
When i burn a CD or use a program the CPU asuge goes to 100%. The CPU usage splits between all programs running, e.g. if WMP was using 1% it all of a sudden jumps to 11% or something and every process fluctuates. Very annoying!
Any help would be appreciated... Also tried system restore but it didnt work.
