I burned a Stand=Alone DVD which was converted originally from VHS. I used Nero 7 Ultra to burn this movie on a DVD=RW. The properties of the file indicate it to be TS_01 etc. It burned ok but when playing back this video from the DVD-RW on a DVD player, which is actually a musical video, I noticed that the sound of the singing and the actual movement of a persons lips is somewhat one behind the other.

I was wondering what may be causing this and if the recording speed should have been taken into consideration before burning it.

Regards, and thanks for all in the past.

The writing speed would have no effect on the sync problem.

several possibilities:

1. The conversion from VHS caused the out of sync problem in the first place.

2. The DVD player has a problem playing DVD-RW discs (not unusual -- mine does the same)

3. Try DVD-R instead of DVD-RW
