Windows 2000 unable to log on

Hi, my first post!, the last time I used one of the computers in our network I tried to alter the password, now unfortunatley on start up it is asking me for a password, the username comes up as `Admin` I have tried but cannot get past this, is there a way to bypass ie safe mode or something, many thanks Rob
