I have tried using the Install Troubleshooter from MicroSoft, which states to edit these keys but when I try to access them in regedit, I keep getting an "error while opening key" error. When I right click on the key, the message states that I don't have permission to view the current permissions but I can make permission changes. I then add Administrators to allow full control and read permission, click apply, then I get an unable to save permission changes error.

IE has stopped working completely since the install so I'm using Firefox as my browser.

If anyone could offer some advice on my next steps, I'd appreciate your help!
