I tell you my computer is relentless! I started it up today and had no luck getting it to start. I recieved the follwoing errors, Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. Second one was Dr. Watson Postmortem Debugger has encountered a problem and needs to close. Well after I close both of them, I am unable to use my computer. I get an hour glass on the toolbar, and if I use ctrl+alt+del I can get up the task manager, but I am only able to restart. I am now in safe mode and was able to get online. What do you recommend? Somedays I wonder why I even turn my computer on!

Say Rustymilo

I actually think the problem with my computer is solved. I had a program on it called WinMx for file sharing. I talked with some folks and they said that could be the cause of my problem, I uninstalled it in safe mode and my computer has been back to normal since. If you have any other suggestions let me know, I appreciate teh response.

Rustymilo,

My computer has definately still got some issues. Whenever I start it up now I generally have to do it three times before it will load correctly. It starts out with a Windows Explorer error, than a Dr. Watson error comes up. I have no idea what is wrong with it. Now also it seems to be trying to activate the A drive and won't stop until I through in a floppy? If you could help that would be seriously fantastic.

Hi walter6samuel,

I'm still a helper in training so I can't give you advice about what to fix in your hijackthis log. Someone qualified in that area may come by here and see your post, but you will probably have better luck posting your hijackthis log in the Malware Removal Forum. They help people there on a first come first serve basis, so you may have a little wait.
